WHAT WE OFFER

A slow traveling Montessori community for families with children ages 6-12.

**We can take siblings between the ages of 3-6 if there is space.

Montessori is all about learning by doing and being curious about the world. It teaches kids to be independent thinkers and problem-solvers. When we travel, these skills come to life in the best way possible.

In this traveling Montessori community, your child’s academic learning will be led by a certified and highly experienced Montessori guide in a pop-up learning center equipped with the most essential physical Montessori materials for their age and developmental stage.

They will also learn how to navigate the world with confidence, respect, and a sense of wonder as we explore and immerse in local cultures.

Hands On Learning

Montessori emphasizes child-centered learning, where students are encouraged to explore and learn at their own pace within a prepared environment.

The Montessori approach to education is a distinctive and influential method developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 20th century. This method stands out for its belief in children’s natural development and the importance of adapting the learning environment to fit the needs of each child at different stages of their growth.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZER

Alanna Gallo

Hi! I am a digital nomad mom of four, the founder of Play. Learn. Thrive.,™ and a former teacher with a Master’s in Education from the University of Southern California. I have been running my own business in the parenting and education space for 3+ years and my work has been featured in media outlets such as Parents.com, ScaryMommy, Mom.com, Business Insider and more.

Our family spent a year traveling full-time in Europe and Mexico and while it was an incredible experience we missed having a consistent community of likeminded families.

This past year I launched a Montessori microschool in my home town that is currently thriving with an incredible Montessori guide leading the way. While we are sad to leave but very ready to start traveling full-time again–and we can’t wait to build this incredible Montessori community with you!
